I have spent the last 4 years teaching elementary students in the Verona School District. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching in the elementary classroom, filling young minds with knowledge and a love of learning! A love for children and learning, combined with a passion for education, drives my desire to teach. As a life-long learner, I am committed to ongoing professional development in the spirit of continuous improvement. I have had 5 years of developing and implementing rigorous and appropriate lesson plans, assignments, and assessments. I work closely with school leaders to analyze student assessment data to measure progress and use data to inform instruction. Having spent my teaching years in small community schools, I know how important it is to get families engaged in their children’s education by building relationships and maintaining regular communication. Through my teaching pedagogy, I demonstrate genuine interest, belief, and care for students’ personal and academic success. I am committed to professional growth, self-reflection, a receptiveness to feedback, and a desire to continuously improve.
