Hi! Struggling with math? I'd love to help! I'm certified to teach math 6-12 in VA. I've been an 8th grade school math teacher for the last seven years and absolutely love teaching. I am taking this year off to raise my new baby boy. I'm personable and work hard to help my students succeed! Why hire a certified teacher? I know what teachers want their students to understand, the types of questions they ask on tests, and what specific skill set students will need for the SOL. I work not only with my students but with their classroom teacher to pinpoint exactly what they need. I'll prep for each session, not simply go over whatever material the student brings. When possible, we'll even work ahead so my students are familiar with the material before their classroom teacher introduces it!
