I tutor students from all backgrounds and school levels (elementary school to college) Tutoring in science mainly. I served as a science tutor for the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science’s IMPACT program. Worked with underrepresented high school students to help them catch up and get ahead in their science proficiency skills. Performed one-on-one work with individual or small group of students. Also, I have previous experience tutoring college students. Worked along with a Faculty Mentors (MDC), assisted students with college science work, helped them to develop and apply problem-solving techniques, encouraged active learning, and promoted an environment of teamwork. Established social and academic environment with the goal of providing students the opportunity to network and work along other students within a peer-based support system.
