Hello, my name is Andrea and I hold a Ph.D in Comparative Literature from the UW with great experience in language teaching and academic writing. Originally from Europe and working in the academic field in the USA since 1986, I master German, French and English in equal measure. I have successfully tutored in these languages for many years off and on and I am very comfortable teaching students and professionals of all ages and on all levels, on a one to one basis or as a group. One of the greatest rewards for a teacher is to help students discover, master, thrive,and reach their goals and full potential. I can help you achieve your goals with friendliness, patience and efficiency. I also can provide excellent support in essay and thesis writing, as well as editing, and translating. We can meet at my home or at other places such as coffee shops or libraries--and possibly at your home. I charge $ 50/hour.
