I possess well over 5 years of progressive experience in the education/teaching field. My professional history includes positions such as a behavioral aid with SDSU as well as a teacher with SDUSD. I thoroughly love being in the educational setting and helping students to be successful. My specialty is working with those students in Special Education but am qualified to work with both General Ed and Sped. I have taught 2-4th grade and worked in classrooms from K-8. My love for teaching comes from a lifelong love of helping others. With patience and perseverance I work hard and dedicate myself to my students and their success. I specialize in teaching phonics and reading. I have worked with many students ranging in a variety of needs. I am proud to share that many of my students have excelled academically and behaviorally! Depending on the students needs, I will individualize each lesson to ensure his/her needs are met. I currently teach full time so I am available after 2:30 pm Monday-Friday and am available on weekends by appointment.
