About me: I graduated from SDSU in Spring 2014 with a B.S. in Physics and have been tutoring for several years. I tutored as a volunteer for my college's tutoring center and for my Society of Physics Students club. I have also done private tutoring on and off as time permitted. I tutor mathematics ranging from algebra to vector calculus and physics ranging from high school AP to advanced, upper division college courses. The Socratic Method is the backbone of my tutoring style and I adapt the particulars to each student as we get to know each other. To help facilitate this, I include an additional 30 minutes in your first scheduled hour of tutoring specifically to learn about the student's learning goals, precise struggles, and preferred learning and studying methods. Subjects: Algebra I/II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Calculus I/II/II, Linear algebra, Differential Equations, and Physics If you are unsure whether I tutor the course you need help in, don't hesitate to ask. Rates: $25/hr for individual; $40/hr for groups of up to 4 students, $10/hr for each additional student up to a group of 8.
