Tutor in Vancouver, British Columbia

My name is Lockie Mullany, and I am a undergraduate student studying Law and Politics at UBC. I graduated from St. George's School, and excelled in Math and English. I can tutor grade K-11 math, and all around English. I took the SATs, and scored a 2100, with a 750 in Writing and 700 in Reading. I am confident that I am able to increase English, Social studies, and Math grades significantly. As I am a recent high school graduate, I know how students at my age learn. I know that our generation does not have as long as an attention span, and cannot learn well from slow, long sessions. I also know that a lot of tutors explain problems in a way that the tutor understands it (a master at the field), which often leaves the student confused. I know from my tutoring throughout boarding school for my fellow peers, I tutor in a way that not only keeps students awake, but also helps them understand in a relevant way. I can also tutor adults; I have been teaching a new immigrant from El Salvador with little proficiency in English conversation skills. We have been working on job interviews, filling out forms, and basic conversations.
