Whether your child needs a little extra help with school work, to gain confidence in a specific area of science or maths, or has a certain goal in mind, I can help achieve this. I am passionate about science and enthusiastic to pass on my knowledge to students to help them achieve their goals.I am extremely friendly, approachable and patient and I have a lot of experience in teaching vital maths and science tools to a range of ages from 5-16. Available evenings and weekends. I am an English Post Doctoral Fellow at Dalhousie University, my PhD was in genetics and I have a first class honours degree from Exeter, UK.I also successfully completed a 4-week intensive certificate course in Teaching English as a Foreign Language in Rome. The course included lesson planning, time management, establishing rapport and many other techniques vital to teaching. I gained a lot of teaching experience in small groups and one to one during this time. I have taken part and taught in school educational days at the University. I am currently teaching primary and secondary school maths and Biology and would be able to provide references if required. I am adaptable for various relevant subjects and will tutor online.
