I am a fourth year English student at Grant Macewan with experience in various forms and eras of literature, including Shakespearean, American, Medieval, and many more. I have also taken multiple classes in Linguistics and grammar analysis. I possess a thorough understanding of the English language, and have a passion for teaching. When I finish my Bachelors degree, I plan on enrolling in the ESL program that the University of Alberta offers. I have experience in instructing, editing, and have led multiple seminar discussions. I offer lessons in reading comprehension, grammar and sentence structure, essay and thesis construction, as well as helpful reading and writing tips. As a history minor, I also understand the historical context of many works of literature, and can effectively bridge the zeitgeist, political atmosphere, and social concerns with the text that I am analyzing. I have reliable transportation and can travel to either your home or a nearby library.
