Vocabulary: We practice medium to challenge words and the goal is retention rather than memorization via Greek and Latin root structure Grammar: Punctuation, Clauses, Predicates, Prepositions, Nouns, Adjectives, Adverbs, Conjunctions, Synonyms, Antonyms, Homonyms, and much more. Spelling: We practice on improving spelling by using standardized school lists coupled with following state spelling Bee’s format Online Sources Used: Ed Helper, English Maven, Grammarly, Washington State School’s Curriculum Homework is given weekly in packets for the students to print and complete Assignments are graded and returned back to the student There are monthly exams and spot quizzes to ensure retention.
