I am retired. After retiring I went to Korea and taught English for two years and then I also taught at some camps. In Korea many students go to a summer or winter English camp. Just as Americans go to Music camps or athletic camps. I really enjoyed teaching and when I came back we moved to Georgia. It took a while , but I did get a job as a substitute teacher for the Newton county schools. I have tried to limit my teaching to math and English. I have taught in elementary schools and middle schools and some in high schools. In the high schools I felt like I was more of a baby sitter, so I have done too much teaching there. When I teach I like to have a goal the students will learn this today. In Korea it was often pronunciation. But teaching 1st graders They would need to learn word recognition, spelling as well as phonics.
