Hello, I am a licensed and experienced math teacher and tutor. I have more than 15 years experience tutoring and more than 10 years experience teaching mathematics. I have an undergraduate and a graduate degree in Mathematics Education. I love teaching math and working with students. It's an incredibly rewarding experience to work on hard problems together and to really understand why something is working. Rates: I am located off I-5 in North Portland. For in-home tutoring rates are determined by your location. Sliding scale rates are available for families making less than median income. For in-home tutoring rates start at $60/session. This includes travel, supplies, curriculum and one hour of instruction. If you are traveling to my neighborhood rates are less and dependent on the subject area. Prior to our first meeting we will have a phone conference. It's a good opportunity for me to know more about the student and for you to ask me any questions.
