Is your child struggling in school or not meeting grade level expectations? Children who are challenged academically often need extra help outside the classroom to meet their individual goals. Tutoring outside of a large classroom setting is an effective way to help children succeed. I am an experienced teacher, working with students from Kindergarten all the way up to Grade 12. I have an Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Early/Middle Years Education from the University of Winnipeg After Degree program. During my education degree I was the Student of Highest Distinction in the program and was awarded membership in the Golden Key International Honour Society. I am committed to the pursuit of excellence for both myself and my students. In my practice I often work with members of the vulnerable sector, children with special needs and students learning English as an additional language. In addition to this, I also have specific experience as a family support worker and tutor for children with learning disabilities such as ADHD, Dsygraphia and Dsylexia.
