Hello! I am a third year English student at Western University and a recent transfer from the University of Toronto, where I was studying an Honours Specialist in English and a Minor in Semiotics. I have a great love for both school and English literature, and I consider that passion the guiding force in my academic success. As well, I have years of experience working with both children and youth (Grade 6 & up) in a literacy-based context. I spent this past summer as a Literacy Resources Assistant at LUSO Community Services, and I've also volunteered at the Chippewa Reserve. In both of these positions, I worked with children and youth on reading, writing, and general literacy skills. Teaching is a great passion of mine, and as much as I tutor, realistically, for income, I also love teaching. So being able to get paid for what I love is an amazing opportunity. With final exams coming up, I am offering my services to all high-school students looking to hone both their essay writing and examination skills (particularily in the subjects of English and History). I can provide editing for final papers, and regularily meet for study sessions. It is extremely important to get the help you need now, so that you don't need to retake any classes, especially for those planning on attending university/college this coming fall. I am located in the Old South area, but I am available to come to you (certain distances will come with a wage increase).
