I am a medical student on leave of absence due to financial restraints. In addition to an enthusiastic mindset, I can bring excellent communication skills and cater to helping any individual with their respective academic needs. My skill set is centered around three tenets. Communication, Knowledge and Problem solving. I integrate all three of these in my teaching. I believe that success at any level relies on the application of the material and being able to clearly communicate the concepts learned. Basic concepts are the foundation in which more complex theories are applied. A strong foundation can lead to autonomy in learning which is the ultimate goal. However, in order to fully grasp the concepts learned, I believe that it is essential for the client to practice solving problems with their tutor, see where their mistakes lie, solve such road blocks and overcome said hurdle. The ability to solve despite the limitation and receive validation would enable a student to look beyond and focus on moving forward with grasping more complex problems.
