I am a passionate high school educator with specific training and extensive experience in college prep, especially for English. I focus on strong writing skills, reading strategies, and SAT, FSA and ACT Prep, which I teach at Paxon School for Advanced Studies and in the evenings at a second job. I cannot tutor my own students per DCPS rules, but I am available for anyone else! I charge $30/hour and am available Saturday and Sunday all day. I prefer to meet at local coffee shops or libraries instead of homes and generally work with high school students; however, I have been trained for the middle school FSA Writing Test as well. I have a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Georgia and a master's degree in Secondary English Education from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
