My name is Lucy Santos, and I was born and raised in Toronto. I was the top student of my graduating class at Dante Alighieri Academy, and received the Governor General medal. I attained an entrance scholarship to Ryerson University, where I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science. During my undergraduate career as a Biomedical Sciences student, I have taken part in leadership opportunities as a student mentor. I have also been exposed to the field of research. I was one of the recipients of the prestigious Inorganic Chemistry Exchange in Canada, as well as the NSERC. Additionally, my passion for health sciences has encouraged me to volunteer as a first responder for Ryerson’s medical emergency response team. ​ Although I set high goals for my academic endeavours, I enjoy using my time for my own personal interests. I am a huge sports fan (hockey included), and play in a competitive soccer league. I am a huge animal lover, and relaxing with my dog is the best! I tutor elementary school and high school math as well as high school chemistry, physics and English. I also tutor mathematics at the college and university levels.
