Tutor in Palo Alto, California

I'm an
Individual
I am a highschool tutor that can help in a multitude of areas (various subjects, discipline, study skills, etc). References available upon request. I factor in location, session length, and session frequency in regards to how much I charge. Feel free to negogiate depending on your own idea of a fair price. I usually go by 30$/hour Here is my LinkedIn profile I recently created. In it I share some more information about my past, and some test scores that you may find useful in evaluating me as a tutor fit for your son/daughter. (not listed: 35 on the ACT, 2120 on the SAT) https://....com Here is some more background information: I am currently an undergrad at Foothill community college hoping to transfer to UCLA, as a biochemistry major (premed). I live in Palo Alto, and went to Palo Alto High School. I'm 18 years old, moving on up in the world. Following my junior year at Paly, a fellow classmate recommended me to take over for him as a tutor for a middle-schooler (then becoming a freshman). I helped him with organization, discipline, learning concepts, and doing homework. After a few weeks, he and his family saw promising results and recommended me to one of their friends, whose kid also needed a bit of a help with school. Soon enough, I was tutoring two kids twice a week (an hour/hour and a half every session) and continued to do so for the rest of the year. I want to continue tutoring high school kids, as I believe I can relate well with them. As a young teenager, I used to be quite the troublemaker, procrastinator, and class clown. I was unmotivated to learn, and lacked the willpower to complete daily assignments. Since then, I have matured and realized that a well-rounded education alongside a vigorous work ethic is key for building a successful, happy life. Furthermore, I wish to make money in more worthy way than, say, working retail. During the summer, I worked as a delivery boy for Spot Pizza. Although I enjoyed driving down the beautiful streets of Palo Alto in my top-down convertible under the California sun, I felt as if I was not using my time in the best way. Sure, I was making good wages, but I wasn't learning anything new, or helping others in a positive way. As a tutor, I can achieve the best of both worlds.
