I have been tutoring high school students on how to write academic-style essays for a variety of topics. This includes grammar checks, spelling checks, vocabulary updates, and structure and flow updates to improve the quality of a student's work. I have written numerous research papers on a variety of topics in my engineering and masters degree in political science, and can help students achieve and embrace more detailed and focused writing. I have written successful papers that have gone on to be published in academic journals, and I have presented material at international conferences for an academic audience. I have been working over the past 6 months on tutoring Chinese students on grammar, spelling, vocabulary and academic writing styles that have led to improvements in their academic careers. I plan to continue supporting even more students to achieve high quality academic papers, while also being able to support high school students improve their writing to support their resumes and writing samples for college applications. With my engineering background, I also can help with math, algebra and science subjects. I'm particularly interested in chemistry and physics, courses with which I was top in my class in both high school and university.
