In May of 2019, I graduated from the University of Missouri with a Journalism degree (emphasis in print & digital news editing) and a minor in creative writing. I think my perspective as a young person who recently went through middle school and high school is valuable because of how much schools have changed in the last decade. I'm a permanent resident of the digital age, and I know how reading and writing are transforming with the ways in which we consume things. As an older brother, I've also been charged my whole life with teaching my siblings lessons — both literally and figuratively. I have extensive experience as a camp counselor, and there's no better feeling to me than seeing the look on someone's face when I can tell what I've said makes an impact.
