I am about to finish my third year of university at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, pursuing a double-major in English and History. Peers and family would describe me as friendly, patient, ambitious, and altruistic, as I strive to work hard and serve others. Becoming a secondary school teacher has been my top priority for the last three years, refusing to take semesters off and using my free time to hone my academic skills. I am currently seeking volunteer and/or paid work experience with teens (13-17 years old) to fulfill the preliminary requirements for SFU's professional development program. I am very excited to make a positive impact with you as well as the youth I will be working with!
