Tutor Job in Mcdonough, Georgia

We are looking for part-time Math instructors to work at our McDonough Learning Center. Applicants should have a strong math aptitude, great communication skills, as well as a sense of humor and upbeat demeanor! Instructors will be working with students from 2nd grade through 12th grade. Students will be attending for both remedial and enrichment purposes. You will be using our curriculum and the Mathnasium Method (in which you will be trained) to help students build their foundational math skills and confidence. Instructors will also provide support with homework, quiz, and test preparation related to the material that students are covering in math class at school. Current hours of instruction: Monday - Friday: 3:00p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Qualifications: Strong math aptitude and the ability to instruct math up through Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 (math assessment required). Experience working with children - camp counselor, peer tutor, babysitter - is preferred.
