HISTORY: Mathematics has always been my passion and obsession since my childhood. I was introduced to Mathematics at an age as early as two years through basic number system . when I grew older to enter primary education I was surprised by the questions like what is addition and what is multiplication etc . My journey of love for mathematics started from 6 th class . that year I was awarded for my good performance in the international mathematics Olympiad . after that I took part in this Olympiad every year and my passion and motivation for mathematics increased each time . I also took part in several talent search examinations and national level quizes. During this period, I fell in love with algebra and geometry . then in last year of my secondary education ie 10 th class , I got 10/10 cgpa in mathematics . after my 10 th class , without any confusions and leaving all the other options , I opted for non medical for my senior secondary school studies . it was mainly about mathematics and science . In the 11 th result , I got 96 /100 in mathematics which was another motivation for my journey . during these years , I developed great interest in trigonometry , calculus and probability theory and analysis . after my high school , I appeared in JEE MAINS exam and I got 13700 rank out of 14 lakh appearing students and that was in top 1% of the appearing students . Here also mathematics was the subject I scored the most and this helped me to get the admission in india’s top institutions of technology ie IIT’s and NIT’s . I got admitted in DR B.R Ambedkar National institute of technology , NITJalandhar . I always believed that a strong mathematical base will help me in the techinal studies that involves programming and developing and I was right . mathematics was helpful at each and evry stage of my degree . during my 4 year journey of NITJ , along with technical education of electronics and communication , my passion for mathematics never decreased . I did many projects in college based on embedded systems , computer networks , emotion sensing machine etc . I had 4 subjects of mathematics in my degree also and that is where I realised where I belong . out of 48 subjects I studied in my degree , these 4 subjects I enjoyed the most. These subjects were based on higher calculus , fourier series and transforms, higher algebra and numerical mathematics .Throughout my school and post school career , mathematics has been the subject that helped me to perform better and has been the pillar of my academic record .for mathematics , I have a never ending desire and I will learn and explore more and more throughout my life.
