Hello! My name is Connor. I am a recent college graduate (3.9 GPA, Phi Beta Kappa nominee, Dean's List/4.56 high school GPA, 18th in my class, top 1% of graduating class) offering my services to ALL AGES AND GRADES (including college/out of college) in the following subjects: Latin (basic - intermediate) German (basic - intermediate) European history (1100-present) American history (1500-present) Environmental chemistry (including energy mapping) English literature and composition Theatre (history/performance theory/dramatic theory) Human geography I achieved 5's on the AP exams for Human Geography, European History, American History, English Language and Composition, and English Literature. I was a runner-up for the National Latin Exam and have studied German for 8 years, including while in college and while living for a short time in Germany. I attended a nationally ranked liberal arts college (which means I was required to continue studies in history, math, science, English, philosophy, etc) and graduated with a degree in theatre and minors in German and creative writing. I worked as a German tutor for three years and as a physics tutor for one year while in college. My rate is $10/hr or $40/hr for groups of five. Groups of more than five may also be negotiated for any AP review sessions or exam prep. I will also review and help edit papers for $5/page. I don't tutor in a typical fashion; I like to have fun, have some laughs, and get YOU to think about the information for yourself. I am particularly good at helping people find and craft study habits that work for them. Feel free to contact me with any questions! All I ask is that you include some information about where you are in your studies (if you have power point slides, notes you could type and send to me, homework examples, etc.) so that I can determine if I would be able to help you or not. I have no scheduling conflicts and can meet at any time. Also, I am a recent college graduate, meaning that if you find yourself needing late night help, I understand (and have been there!) and am available with enough notice. Willing to travel, depending on distance and length/size of tutoring session.
