My name is Tenzin Thinley and I was enrolled in the Life Sciences Program at the University of Toronto where I majored in Health & Disease and Physiology. I graduated in 2015 with Honours and high distinction and am currently studying to write my MCAT exams. Being a Tibetan Canadian, I’m fluent in Tibetan and English but also speak Hindi. I enjoy tutoring because it provides me with the opportunity to teach and also become a mentor. I am an experienced tutor who has tutored students of various age groups and love creating a fun learning environment. I enjoy maintaining a healthy lifestyle and play basketball on a regular basis. I also enjoy volunteering and have volunteered at hospitals, nursing homes, tutoring agencies etc. My strengths in biology, physics, chemistry, and math along with my tutoring experience are what make a successful tutor. I tutor elementary school and high school math as well as high school biology, physics and chemistry.
