Hi my name is Jose and I am a sophomore in high school. I am a straight A student in Advanced (AP) Classes with an A in Algebra. I have always had a passion for math and I just won an award for best achievement in mathematics out of a possible 200 students. I finished with a 100 average and was at the top of the class. My teacher also gifted me a different award for always helping other kids who were struggling in the class. I am an excellent teacher and even better mathematician. I am willing to teach kids (from grades 9 and down) who are having trouble in school, are stuck on a problem with homework, or just want to go above and beyond in school and learn the material before his/her classmates do. I can teach Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, and everything in between - and I am an expert in Quadratics and have memorable techniques to remember formulas. I also teach theorems that are not taught in school. I am excellent with little kids and I am patient. Within a 2 mile radius of my address my rate is $18 an hour with a 1 hour minimum. From a 2 to a 5 mile radius $22 per hour with a 2 hour minimum.
