Tutor in Elizabeth, New Jersey

I am a current high school math and engineering teacher in Elizabeth, NJ. I graduated as a mechanical engineer from Vanderbilt University in 2010. I discovered teaching through Teach For America. I decided to continue teaching because I love what I do. My passion for education has lead me to complete a masters in education this past summer from Lehigh University in Education Leadership. I was always a good student but not because learning came easy to me, but because I worked hard to do well. This has lead me to want to help other students be persistent in their studies, as such I have tutored students in math and physics for 6 years. I currently work with high school students (9-12) additionally I have been a baby sitter since I was 13 years old and I often took care of my two younger siblings.
