In our model, veteran educators provide individual attention in small group sessions to students in grades K-12. We are currently seeking an experienced Math Teacher to assist with all levels in preparation for the 2017-201... SAT and ACT. Job Overview The Splendor Learning Teacher is a part-time position that will plan, organize, and implement appropriate educational programs for students at an elementary or secondary level. Job Duties Instruct and mentor students at the center in the use of learning materials and equipment Identify academic weaknesses of students; develop schemes of work in order to address areas of concern Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies. Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues about the progress of students. Indicate any additional steps that ought to be taken to support the child’s learning Qualifications Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds Bachelor’s Degree in teaching from an accredited academic institution or related subject area and State certification in teaching in an appropriate area OR experience teaching at a collegiate level We welcome MAT and MED candidates or undergrad students pursuing degree in education.
