Prerequisites: *Complete employment application and return to [email protected] *Must hold Teaching credential (emergency substitute certificates accepted) *Must have TB clearance *Must complete a background check Duties: *Attend mandatory curriculum and procedural training *Provide group instruction two days per week after school *Provide afternoon after school sessions / possible flexibility with time *Meet with parents to sign documents *Provide Pre, mid, and post assessments for each student *Provide tutoring sessions (using mandatory curriculum) *Provide regular Progress Reports *Collect and maintain all required documentation *Communicate regularly with Coordinator *Follow all procedures as mandated by Employee Handbook Time Line for Tutoring: *Parent provider fairs generally held in Sept / October *Student rosters generally provided Oct-Dec *Individual meetings with parents to pre-assess student once rosters are provided *Tutoring to begin either Oct/Nov/Dec/January (each district operates on own timeline) DON'T WAIT TO APPLY!
