Hi, my name is Amy. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and a minor in Spanish from Texas Woman's University. I have always enjoyed helping children to learn and grow in skill in areas of reading, writing, and math. I am very patient and supportive when working with a child to help them gain more confidence in their abilities, whether it is pronunciation, reading comprehension, or solving math problems. I work steadily with a child to help him/her progress towards an academic goal. I have experience working elementary through high school age children as well as children with special needs (learning disabilities such as ADD and Autism). Some of the subjects I have experience in tutoring are Reading, Creative Writing, Basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Spanish, History, and English as a Second Language.
