The International Student Success Center (ISSC) is a start-up tutoring center created by recent college grads and graduate students in the DC area. We had an idea to start a resource center specialized in helping international students at the college and university levels to succeed in their respective undergraduate and graduate programs and so we got together and made it happen, and now we need highly educated individuals to join the team as tutors and staff. About ISSC We offer support for finding the right college or university program for students' interests and capabilities and help in the processes of completing and submitting college applications to schools across the United States. We have already helped hundreds of students get enrolled into English language training programs as well as two- and four-year undergraduate degree programs and a range of graduate programs. Once enrolled, international students can work with ISSC tutors for assistance with better understanding course material, homework, editing papers or lab reports, problem sets, and preparing for presentations and exams. Our team of tutors is available around the clock, seven days a week to meet the needs of incoming and enrolled international students in person and online. Now Hiring ISSC is expanding its services and has opened a new Learning Center in Arlington, Virginia where students in need can meet with our tutors for training and assistance and make use of our staff and resources like our modern computer lab. We are now seeking highly-motivated, passionate, positive, creative and qualified tutors in the STEM fields, especially: - Biology (I, II) - Physics (I, II) - Chemistry (I, II) - Calculus (I, II, II) - Computer science (all levels) - Software engineering (all levels) - Electrical engineering (all levels) - IT (all levels) - Accounting - Finance / financial analysis - Economics - Statistics Compensation & Opportunities with ISSC We offer very competitive hourly rates to our tutors ranging from around $20 to $80 an hour depending on the subject, level, and the tutor's training and experience. Once you join the team, there are also many opportunities for promotions within the institute as we are constantly looking for talented individuals for creative projects, management and administration - as we seek to expand our presence around the United States and the world we will need talented, motivated and experienced staff to head up learning center task forces, projects, divisions and offices.
