Tutors will work with 1-5 students per class during after-school hours on Tuesdays & Thursday as well as morning hours on Saturday. Besides instructing 4 -14 year olds, the responsibilities will include student outreach, evaluation, lesson plans (based on our pre-designed courses). MindsAhead Hackensack is looking for Tutors in the Following Subject Areas • English (Grammar, Reading Comprehension, Writing/Essay Editing, Vocabulary) • SAT (Math, Writing, Verbal) • Math (Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics) • Robotics Qualifications The ideal candidate: • Demonstrates mastery in their content area • Is ready for long term commitment • Has experience working with a diverse student population • Holds a Bachelor's Degree or is close to finishing a degree in the tutoring subject, or a related field • Certification preferred but not mandatory Pay Rate Generous performance based hourly rates between $15 - $35 How to apply To apply, please send your resume, availability and subject(s) you are interested in tutoring to [email protected]
