Make a Difference in Your Community: Aloha Mind Math is Now Hiring Reading & Writing and Math Academic Instructors for GRADES K-5 As a part-time instructor at Aloha Mind Math, your primary responsibilities are: * Just Teaching! No Lesson Plans. If you aspire to inspire, then we want you on our team! * Understand student's needs, provide the help needed, manage their tasks, check completed works, and assess understandings. * Communicate with students in friendly but strict, professional manner. * Tell the director if students are not doing assigned work or failing to behave. Aloha Mind Math Learning Centers Offer: -Flexible schedules -Opportunity to use and develop your teaching skills -Join a dynamic, energetic company -Make a difference in student's lives Qualifications for Aloha Mind Math Learning Center Academic Instructors include: -Bachelors Degree -Minimum of 6 months teaching or tutoring experience -Substitute Teachers are welcome! -State Level Teaching Certification preferred (current, in-progress or expired). Not required for Math Instruction -The ability to maintain a productive, high performing learning environment with effective teaching and group management strategies. -Must be available between the hours of 3:30-7:30 pm Monday-Friday and Saturdays & Sundays 9am-2pm We can provide you consistent hours: between 8-16 hours per week, year round! You will be trained on the Aloha Mind Math curriculum and given the tools to teach in a 6:1 setting.
