High Tide Tutoring is a private, in-home tutoring business that specializes in math, science and statistics tutoring, and also caters to other subjects on request. We work with all ages from elementary school through college. All High Tide tutors are highly qualified to tutor in their area of expertise and, above all, are professional, kind and patient people. We are currently hiring qualified tutors for the following subjects: - Arithmetic - Pre-algebra - Algebra I - Algebra II - Geometry - Trigonometry - Pre-calculus - Calculus - Statistics - Linear algebra - Differential equations - Finance - Economics - Accounting - Physics - Biology - Chemistry - Ecology - Spanish - English composition - Literature - Standardized test prep Qualifications: - All applicants must be actively pursuing or possess a bachelor’s degree. - Tutoring experience is not required, but preferred. - A strong desire to be an educator in some aspect is expected. - A test of knowledge in your field(s) of expertise may be given. - A background check will be run on all tutors that are offered work. - All tutors must have a car and access to high-speed internet.
