My name is Jason Slack and I am offering my services as a tutor to any middle school, high school and college level student in need. I am a Pre-Med California State University graduate with a BS in Biology and a minor in both Chemistry and Philosophy. I have a decade of extensive tutoring and college preparatory experience. Service Cost: To be determined by a client to client basis, though I am sensitive and surely willing to work with the cost concerning those who are low income and in desperate need of my expertise. College Writing -Philosophy: Existentialism & Philosophy of Medical Ethics -All Pre-Nursing curricula as well as the TEAS Test -MCAT -SAT, ACT, GED and both Math and English/Writing college entrance exams Skills/Program: -Engineer comprehensive, student specific, learning programs & objectives. -Maintain effective tutoring strategies optimized for student success in all aspects of target curricula. -Formalize goal oriented pathways fundamentally attuned to student's specific learning style & motivations. -Establish career planning tools guided specifically to develop & optimize clear execution of future objectives grounded within the student's primary interests. -Implement Life Coach style instructional methodology & philosophical access based upon the needs & concerns of the student, & in many cases, parent alike. -Train incoming tutors in all aspects of effective instruction & interpersonal communicative principles vital to the academic welfare of the student. Catalyzing the core constructive beliefs and motivations within an individual Is something I hold most dear. It is this sincerity and my empathetic resolve alike that attribute to my deft ability at turning a student's lack of academic understanding, motivation and confidence into an existential realization of newly focused potential. Through the development of certain skills and integral mindsets a whole new world of success opens to them. I feel I am an effective tutor because my willingness to teach is only outmatched by my willingness to learn. I am someone who understands the stresses of being a student and the difficulty of incorporating that aspect of themselves into the identity of who they are outside the academic world.
