I have 3 years experience with a homework club for grades 1-8 for CCVT (Canadian Center of Victims of Torture). At this homework club I helped these students with whatever homework they had. I also have mentored/tutored a grade 10 student from the same program in math, I brought his grade up to a 60% from a 39% in three months. I have worked at Mathnasium tutoring grades 1-10 students in math for one month. I feel these experiences have shown me many ways to teach/tutor math, reading and writing for a variety of age groups and that I will be able to teach your son or daughter what they need to know in these subjects.
