I am a New York University Econ/Pre-Med student and a recipient of the NYU College of Arts and Science Academic Scholarship. I am a tutor that can sympathize or relate to my students with many of their problems and concerns, and also understand the importance of my role in helping the student achieve an excellent grade or outcome. I am very easy to talk to and I am good at connecting with my students. My subjects of expertise would be Mathematics, Writing, History, ACT Prep, Economics and science. For mathematics, I prefer to provide instruction in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I II and the ACT Math. For Writing, I can provide instruction and assist with any writing needed for a variety of areas such as research papers, English classes or college applications. For History, I specialize in World, United-States and European History at both the high school and AP levels. For the ACT I can provide instruction with all of the sections. My overall score back in high school was in the 99th Percentile. I am an Economics Major and can provide instruction in Macro/Microeconomics and Mathematics for Economics. Finally, I am also on the pre-med track and can provide instruction in Chemistry, Biology and Physics up to the collegiate level. Mathematics is my best subject and also my favorite to teach. I love teaching from basic elementary school level math all the way to college level Calculus. I have received a perfect 5s on the AP Calculus AB and the AP Calculus BC Examinations and also took up to Linear Algebra and college statistics at NYU. I have experience tutoring math to my peers in middle school, high school and in college as well as the learning center Kumon. Once again, although my main preference is mathematics, I am able to provide tutoring and assistance with a wide variety of subjects.
