Tutor Job in New York, New York

I'm an
Individual
Allo. Je m'appelle Laura. Ca va? Moi...oui, mais j'avais eu oublier toute -(et maintenant en anglais, merci) malheureusement I have forgotten French language lessons from HS, College and just "parlant " en français avec mes amies. I originally learned French from au pairs -I was the solo American nanny-so learning French brought me friendship-I found I had a knack w/languages. I also studied Italian and some Russian. Each country I visited I could quickly adapt to the language quotidian if that is "la mot juste". I am 48 years old. I was never able to complete a BA at Barnard-yet I plan (this summer) to return to Columbia to resume studies P/T to complete my BA-(never too late!) I have credits and actually very good grades in French, English-and I was a Biology major-but it is French I would truly prefer and love to pursue. I am now at a junior year level of studies. I can read well in French; am told I have more of a Parisienne accent (and I enjoyed travel to France-just Paris) My main reason for seeking a tutor at this juncture is to brush up on grammar(necessary) although I prefer more of an academic or LITERARY approach to any lessons a tutor would be willing to offer me. I have been out of college since 1990; I would hope a tutor would be willing and able to come to my apt as I am recovering from a knee and hip replacement (ad recovering well!) I'd like to make my dive back into French as enjoyable as possible but discipline assignments and constructive criticism essential as well as organization (i.e.: suggestion of texts , novels etc) I do hope to hear from a good match of a tutor soon! A bientot et merci-Yours, Laura
