I’ve been helping people learn things all my life, as a professional tutor, a volunteer tutor, a site supervisor, a mother and a classroom volunteer. Now, I want to help you learn math. This is one of the ways we describe our world, so all over the world there are chances to practice it. Oranges are perfect for learning fractions; spare change can easily show statistical sampling methods, and a deck of cards works great for practicing multiplication. It’s fun! Sometimes math is hard, and sometimes it’s scary. Just like life! Once you find a path through it, the next challenge isn’t quite as frightening. Everyone’s route is different. Let’s find your path.
