In my last semester at Stony Brook University, I created the website philosophizeli....., which looks at the state of philosophical education in high schools on Long Island. I interviewed students and educators and found that while education in philosophy is low, the benefits of an education supplemented with philosophy are great. As a philosophy graduate of SBU, I believe that an education filled with dialogue, critical thinking, and analysis is one that best prepares the student for a vast, complicated world. As a former swim teacher to students of all ages, I have the patience and interpersonal skills to relate to and help any student. Let me put my skills to work for you or your child.
