I helped many undergraduate students as a CRLA certified advanced physics tutor at the University of New Mexico until graduation. Since then I work as an engineer. I am an excellent tutor because I find the best learning style of the student, whether it be visual, pictorial, verbal, tactile, etc, and adapt to that learning style. I had to think quickly on my feet and really know the basics in the Physics tutor lab, because it was on a drop in basis, covering all undergraduate Math and Physics courses. I also mentored other engineers as I moved on to new tasks. I take great joy in helping high school students get over math anxiety concerning accelerated classes.
