I hold a master's degree in magazine, newspaper and online journalism from Syracuse University and a bachelor's in English literature with a minor in Linguistics from Florida Atlantic University. I have four years of newsroom and language teaching experience. Ive worked as a reporter and editor in places such as The Post-Standard and The Washington Post and taught at two nationally recognized language schools, Uceda Language Institute and The Language Academy. In both schools, I assisted students of different levels and nationalities with different language needs. I'm a native speaker of Portuguese and proficient in Spanish and French.
