My name is Nafeesa and I am a private tutor for lower, middle, and high school students in English, History, Writing, Math, Chemistry, and Biology in Los Angeles. In one-on-one sessions, I help students manage work loads, build study skills, organize and craft essays, and prepare for exams. As a graduate of a New York City private school, I am familiar with the quantity and quality of work demanded of preparatory school students and top-college hopefuls, and I would be thrilled to help young Angelenos navigate their academic experiences. After graduating from the Brearley School in 2009, I attended Duke University, where I received a BA in Public Policy Studies. While at Duke, I tutored fellow undergraduates in both college-level calculus and writing. After graduating from Duke in 2013, I moved to Los Angeles where I started working at the UCLA Center for World Health. I am also currently taking pre-medical school classes as I am working towards attending medical school.
