Tutor in Dayton, Ohio

I offer private tutoring year-round in multiple subjects. I work one-on-one with students or with small groups of siblings or friends. I prefer to meet in public places (library, park, coffee shop, diner) for the first few sessions and then may consider meeting in the student’s home, if desired. I hold an A.S. in Agriculture from Sierra College & a B.S. in Agriculture Business with specialization in Education, Event Management & Animal Science from CSU, Chico. I have been constantly continuing my own learning & increasing my knowledge and skills via various workshops and unit studies. I have over 10 years of experience with peer tutoring & tutoring younger siblings of friends & family. I have experience with both traditional public & private school as well as alternative schooling (homeschool & charter schools). I work hard to tailor all tutoring sessions to each individual’s learning style & needs to make learning fun and an enjoyable experience. Rates are $20/one-on-one session $0.75/mile travel cost when travel is over 30 miles. Group rates are $20 for the first student $10/each additional student, up to 5 students. Sessions are 1 hour.
