I've tutored since high school and really enjoy teaching in a one on one setting. I'm a psychological counselor which helps a lot. I've been a head teacher working with kids with various learning disabilities. I have worked as home school teacher as well. I'm engaging and kids tend to respond quite well to my style. I develop strategies for each student taking into account their learning styles and interests. I work with strengths and find that students do well when they have positive self esteem. Parents are provided with progress reports on a regular basis.
