Do you have problems being understood when you write? Are you getting bad grades on academic papers because of your writing skills? Would you like to advance professionally but are being held back because of poor writing skills? Are you being accused of plagiarism because you are not citing your references correctly? I can help with any and all of these writing problems. I can help with: basic writing skills and grammar; knowing the difference between homophones, words that sound the same but are spelled differently, e.g. to, too, and two; sentence, paragraph, and paper development; and, how to cite your references properly so you are not plagiarizing unintentionally. I would like to work with you to help you succeed with your writing skills and be able to present yourself well with the written word. I can do one time sessions for a quick project (minimum 2 hours), or on-going tutoring to work on the areas you are most in need of growth in your skills (preferred). I can help you edit a paper or project, but will not do it for you. I am a past instructor at Kaplan University Online Writing Center (5 years). I have two Master's Degrees (MA in Religious Education, and MSW), along with other master's level work, and most of a Ph.D. completed in Educational Leadership with a focus on Writing Preparation for College Students. I believe that writing well is essential to succeeding academically and in a professional capacity. In addition to my focus on writing skills, I am qualified in multiple areas.
