Hello! I am a Bachelor of Health Sciences student at McMaster University seeking opportunities to work as a tutor. Throughout high school, I achieved academic excellence in a number of subjects, including French, Mathematics, Sciences (Chemistry, Physics and Biology), and English. As a recent high school graduate, I am very familiar with the Ontario curriculum. To maintain my expertise, I continue to take and excel in university level French and Science courses. Moreover, I have extensive experience teaching and working with youth from ages 4-14. For instance. I have two years of experience working as a camp counselor. Throughout that role, I exhibited patience, adaptability and acted as a positive role model for children. I also worked as a volleyball coach for children and adults, where I taught basic healthy active living principles like nutrition and recovery. I am open to tutoring French, Math, Sciences (Chemistry, Physics and Biology) and English for both elementary and high school level students. I was a French Immersion student for 13 years, so I am also able to tutor other French Immersion students. As a tutor, I can provide lesson plans, homework help, knowledge reinforcement and more. I will tailor my services to suit the needs of each student. I will work with the student and the parent to ensure optimal learning.
