I am a retired teacher from Tennessee and can tutor your child. I am certified K-8 and have my Masters in Education from East Tennessee State University. I taught first grade, but have taught college level during my Masters Program and did field work in middle school and high school. I also have two teenage sons I have helped along the way in their educational process - including the ACT test for college. My specialities are reading and math - but can teach any child any subject. I fully believe in Gardener's Multi-Intelligence theory - every person has his/her own learning style. The key to learning is to find that style and help the child develop learning and study skills to enhance their educational process. Prices vary depending on frequency and duration of sessions as well as subject.
