Individual
I am a recently retired college professor. My graduate degree is from Baylor College of Medicine. I have taught at Texas A & M, Armstrong Atlantic University, Jacksonville University, The University of Houston and Houston Community College. I have taught high school biology, high school chemistry, general biology, general chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, microbiology, algebra and geometry. I have extensive experience tutoring both high school and college students in these and other subjects. I am also experienced in preparing students to do well on the SAT and GED. Because of my teaching and tutoring experienced I have become convinced that most students can master practically any subject if they receive proper guidance and assistance in learn how to study and learn. Therefore, no matter what subject I am teaching I always provide each student with suggestions on how to improve their study skills and test taking strategies. This may involve doing extensive but necessary review of previous materials, especially in math and chemistry. I live in northwest Houston. We can work at my home, your home or any convenient location.
