I am a licensed special education teacher and would love to work with your child to help them improve their academic skills. I have been teaching professionally since 1999 as a special education teacher in the public schools, a private school support teacher, private tutor and volunteer in my community.

Since I work for myself full-time, I can fully dedicate my time and energy to providing individualized instruction and progress monitoring that will allow your child to meet their goals. I take the time to communicate regularly with you about your child’s progress along the way through assessment data, my observations and student work samples.

I personally create many of my own teaching and assessment materials to match your child’s learning style and needs. As needed, I also use research-based strategies and high-quality curriculum materials. My positive reinforcement system makes learning more motivating for all students.
